Re:   Review of the regulatory measures associated with confidential customer information and privacy, Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2009-71– Application for costs

Dear Ms. Long

By letter dated 4 May 2009, the Coalition of Communication Consumers (the Coalition) applied for costs with respect to their participation in the proceeding initiated by Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2009-71.

In a separate letter issued today, additional directions on procedure were issued in order to obtain a better understanding of the issues raised in this proceeding.

Consequently, the Commission will not examine the Coalition's application for costs at this time. Should the Coalition choose to participate further into the proceeding, the Coalition should refile its application for costs at that time.

Sincerely,
