RE: Bell Canada Tariff Notice 7191 and Bell Aliant Tariff Notice 253 – Voice dialing
Bell Canada Tariff Notice 7192 and Bell Aliant Tariff Notice 254 – Home Phone Packages

On 21 April 2009, the Commission received applications by Bell Canada and Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership (the companies), under cover of Tariff Notices 7191 and 253, respectively, in which the companies proposed modifications to their respective General Tariff – Item 2165, Calling Features - Voice dialing, in order to reflect changes to the Voice Dialing feature.

On the same date, the Commission received applications by the companies, under cover of Tariff Notices 7192 and 254, respectively, in which the companies proposed to include the Voice Dialing feature as one of the eligible calling features that may be included under various terms and conditions in the companies' Home Phone Packages.

Commission staff intends to ask interrogatories with respect to TNs 7191 and 253. Consequently, all of the above applications will not be approved on an interim basis on the 15 th calendar day after they were received.

The Commission intends to dispose of these applications within 45 business days of receipt of these filings.
