Dear Mr. Mercia, Mr. Abbott, and Ms. Song:

Re: Cybersurf application for relief against Bell Canada regarding certain billing practices and disconnection – Request for an extension of time to submit responses

On 4 March 2009, the Commission received an email from Bell Canada requesting that the deadline for Bell Canada 's response due 6 March 2009 associated with the above-noted dispute be extended to 10 March 2009. Bell Canada indicated that the time extension was required to permit a senior manager with direct knowledge of the file who is unavailable until 9 March 2009 to review its response submission for accuracy and completeness.

In the circumstances, the requested 4-day extension for the filing of Bell Canada 's above-noted response is considered reasonable.

Documents to be filed and served in accordance with the above process are to be received, not merely sent, by the dates indicated. Copies of the documents should also be sent to the following email addresses:   rachelle.frenette@crtc.gc.ca and nat.natraj@crtc.gc.ca.

Yours sincerely,
