Dear Sirs, Madam:
Re: Broadcasting Notice of Consultation 2009-614
This is in response to the letter dated November 26, 2009 from the Stop the TV Tax Coalition (the Coalition) in which it was proposed that technical difficulties prevented the effective submission of the entirety of its 49,693 public comments in respect of Broadcasting Notice of Consultation 2009-614.
Given the nature of this public consultation and the fax logs provided by the Coalition which demonstrated that submission was attempted before the November 2 deadline, the Commission has added these comments to the public record. The total number of comments published on the CRTC website for the Stop the TV Tax Coalition has therefore been revised from 18,700 to 49,693 comments.
A copy of this letter will be placed on the CRTC website along with the Coalition’s letter of November 26, 2009.
Yours sincerely,
(original signed by)
Robert A. Morin
Secretary General
