(the limited partner), carrying on business as Canwest Television Limited Partnership, has requested the revocation of the broadcasting licence for its television programming undertaking CHCA-TV Red Deer, Alberta and its associated transmitters CHCA-TV-1 Calgary, Alberta and CHCA-TV-2 Edmonton, Alberta. |

Given the licensee’s request, the Commission revokes, pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the broadcasting licence issued to Canwest Television GP Inc. (the general partner) and Canwest Media Inc. (the limited partner), carrying on business as Canwest Television Limited Partnership, for the above-mentioned undertaking. |
