The Commission approves the application by Novus Entertainment Inc. to amend the broadcasting licence for its Class 1 terrestrial broadcasting distribution undertaking (BDU) serving Metro Vancouver by adding the following condition of licence: |

The Commission received one intervention from an individual commenting on this application. The intervener considered that all BDUs should follow the same rules and meet the same requirements with respect to described video. |

In this regard, the Commission notes that approval of the current application reflects the Commission’s determinations with respect to the passing through of video description on an analog basis set out in Distribution of video description by Class 1 cable broadcasting distribution undertakings (BDUs), direct-to-home BDUs and satellite relay distribution undertakings, Broadcasting Public Notice CRTC 2007-101, 12 September 2007. |
