Review of community television policy framework
Document withdrawn from the public file
-
On 1 December 2009, the Commission placed a study entitled Community Television Policies and Practices Around the World on its website for consideration as part of its review of the community television policy framework. The study was prepared by TimeScape Productions.
-
A number of licensees of broadcasting distribution undertakings have expressed concern that given the author's active participation in Commission proceedings, there is a conflict of interest and the study should not be on the public record as a report that was prepared on behalf of the Commission. In light of these concerns, the Commission is withdrawing the study from the public record of this proceeding.
