| Application by TVA Group Inc. to amend the broadcasting licence of the national, French-language Category 1 specialty programming undertaking known as Le Canal Nouvelles (LCN). | ||
| The licensee requests that LCN’s conditions of licence be replaced with the standard conditions of licence set out in Conditions of licence for competitive Canadian specialty services operating in the genres of mainstream sports and national news, Broadcasting Regulatory Policy CRTC 2009-562, 4 September 2009. | ||
| However, the licensee proposes that standard condition of licence 1(a) of Broadcasting Regulatory Policy 2009-562, which reads as follows: | ||

| In a clarifying letter, the licensee indicates that the proposed change to standard condition of licence 1(a) of Broadcasting Regulatory Policy 2009-562 is aimed at not limiting the broadcast of news reports to one news report per two-hour period. | ||
