Correction – Class 1, 2 and 3 cable broadcasting distribution undertakings (BDUs) operating in the province of Quebec and Class 1 and 3 cable BDUs and a video-on-demand undertaking operating in the province of Ontario – Acquisition of assets (Corporate reorganizations)
1. In Broadcasting Decision 2009-487, the Commission approved an application to acquire the assets of several undertakings, one of which is a video-on-demand (VOD) programming undertaking. In that decision, the Commission indicated that the VOD programming undertaking was operating in the province of Ontario. However, that undertaking is also operating in the province of Quebec. Consequently, the Commission corrects Broadcasting Decision 2009-487 as follows:
The title of the decision is replaced with the following:
Class 1, 2 and 3 cable broadcasting distribution undertakings (BDUs) operating in the province of Quebec, Class 1 and 3 cable BDUs operating in the province of Ontario, and a video-on-demand programming undertaking operating in the provinces of Ontario and Quebec – Acquisition of assets (Corporate reorganizations)
Paragraph 2 is replaced with the following:
2. The Commission also approves the application by Cogeco Cable Canada GP Inc. (the general partner) and Cogeco Cable Canada Inc. (the limited partner), carrying on business as Cogeco Cable Canada LP (Cogeco LP) to acquire from Cogeco Canada, as part of a corporate reorganization, the assets of the cable BDUs operating under Class 1 and 3 regional licences in Ontario and the video-on-demand programing undertaking operating in Ontario and Quebec.
2. The Commission also replaces the reference to the VOD programming undertaking set out in the appendix to Broadcasting Decision 2009-487 by the following:
