Licence amendment

1.

The Commission approves the application by Bragg Communications Inc., on behalf of itself and its wholly-owned subsidiaries Access Communications Inc., Bay Communications Inc., Halifax Cablevision Ltd. and K-Right Communications Ltd., all carrying on business as EastLink, to amend the broadcasting licences for the cable broadcasting distribution undertakings serving the above-noted locations by adding a condition of licence authorizing the distribution of the special programming service EDUC, formerly known as Distance University Educational Television (DUET), or, where appropriate, by amending the current condition of licence to that effect. This service is provided by Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax. The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection with this application.

2.

The Commission hereby amends the licences for these undertakings by deleting, where applicable, the existing condition of licence relating to the special programming service and by adding, in each case, the following condition of licence:

The licensee is authorized to distribute, at its option, without advertising material, the special programming service EDUC.
