Radiocommunication distribution undertakings – Licence renewals |

The Commission renews the broadcasting licences for the radiocommunication distribution undertakings (RDUs) serving Haines Junction, Horse Camp Hill and Ferry Hill, from 1 September 2009 to 31 August 2016. The licences will be subject to the conditions specified therein. The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection with these applications. |

The RDUs serving Haines Junction and Ferry Hill distribute, in non-encrypted mode, the programs of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) Northern Radio Service. The RDU serving Horse Camp Hill distributes the programs of the CBC Radio One English-language AM radio network service received via satellite from CFWH Whitehorse. |

The licences will be issued to the Manager, Telecom Services, Information and Communications Technology, Highways and Public Works, Government of Yukon, authorizing Phil Wintemute in his capacity as the said Manager, and any subsequent person occupying that position,1 to operate the aforementioned undertakings. |

1 That person must be eligible to hold a broadcasting licence in accordance with the Direction to the CRTC (Ineligibility of Non‑Canadians), P.C. 1997‑486, 8 April 1997, as amended by P.C. 1998‑1268, 15 July 1998. The Commission must be advised in writing when the person occupying this position changes.
