| The licensee proposes to amend the condition of licence stating that it shall devote 60% or more of its musical selections from content category 2 throughout the broadcast week and between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday to Friday to Canadian selections broadcast in their entirety. The applicant requests to reduce the percentage to 35%. | ||
| In its application, Bel-Roc Communications Inc. stated that the station has failed to attract enough advertiser and listener support to maintain its 60% Canadian content level. | ||

| Application by Newcap Inc. relating to the broadcasting licence for the English-language commercial radio programming undertaking CJUK-FM Thunder Bay, Ontario. | ||
| The licensee proposes to change the authorized contours of CJUK-FM by increasing the effective radiated power from 37 to 250 watts (non-directional antenna with an effective height of antenna above average terrain of 36.8 metres). All other technical parameters remain unchanged. | ||
| The Commission notes that the increase in power would result in a change in CJUK-FM's status from that of a low-power unprotected service to that of a regular Class A1 FM station. | ||
| The licensee wishes to increase the quality of the signal of the transmitter. | ||
