The Commission approves the application by Saskatchewan Telecommunications to amend the licence for its Class 1 terrestrial broadcasting distribution undertaking serving the above-noted locations in order to replace the following condition of licence: |

The licensee stated that it was requesting this amendment to comply with the Commission's policy as regards the distribution of the four U.S. commercial networks (CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX) and the non-commercial network PBS. Specifically, in Broadcasting Decision 2008-238, the Commission confirmed that, consistent with Broadcasting Public Notice 2003-61, the upgraded high-definition version of the CBS signal distributed by the licensee must correspond with the standard definition version of the CBS signal distributed by the licensee. |
