Dear Sir/Madam:

RE: MTS Allstream Inc. - Application to review and vary Telecom Decision 2008-57 (Centrex services) and MTS Allstream Inc. - Application concerning provisioning of competitor digital network services in accordance with competitor quality of service standards

On 18 December 2008, the Commission received the above noted applications by MTS Allstream Inc (MTS Allstream).   In its application to review and vary Telecom Decision 2008-57, MTS Allstream proposed that, given the upcoming holiday season, the Commission should grant more than 30 days for any parties wishing to respond to this application to file and serve an answer to this application.   MTS Allstream proposed the following procedure timeline:

•  By 13 February 2009, any parties intending to respond to this application shall file a copy of their answer with the Commission and serve a copy on MTS Allstream

•  By 23 February 2009, MTS Allstream may file any reply comments with the Commission and serve a copy on any parties that filed an answer to this application by 13 February 2009.

The proposed revisions to the procedure timeline for parties to intervene on MTS Allstream's application to review and vary Decision 2008-57 are hereby adopted. In view of the time of the year, the same revised procedure timeline will apply to parties that wish to intervene on MTS Allstream's application concerning

provisioning of competitor digital network services in accordance with competitor quality of service standards.

Sincerely yours,
