Dear Mr. Wilkie:

Re: Application concerning wireless number portability implementation in Dryden Municipal Telephone System (DMTS) and Kenora Municipal Telephone System (KMTS) serving areas

This is further to our letter dated 25 September 2008 in which Commission staff advised that the above noted application would be dealt with soon after a decision was issued on the proceeding initiated to consider a framework for the implementation of wireless number portability (WNP) in the small incumbent local exchange carriers' territories (Telecom Public Notice CRTC 2008-11).

On 18 December 2008, the Commission issued Regulatory framework for the implementation of wireless number portability within the serving territories of the small incumbent local exchange carriers, Telecom Decision CRTC 2008-122.

In view of the framework for WNP set out in the Decision, Commission staff hereby closes the above noted file.

Yours sincerely,
