Re:   Part VII application for forbearance from the regulation of residential local exchange services in various exchanges in Alberta and British Columbia

The Commission is in receipt of a letter from TELUS Communications Company dated 24 November 2008, requesting an extension for the filing of its reply comments in its above-mentioned application from 25 November 2008 to 16 December 2008.

The request for this extension is granted.
