Dear Mr. Gander:

RE: Tariff Notice 46 - Rate Schedule for Residential Primary Exchange Service

On 23 September 2008, the Commission received an application by KMTS, under cover of Tariff Notice 46, in which the company proposed a modification to its rate schedule for Residential Primary Exchange Service.

Commission staff is continuing its analysis. Consequently, the Commission will not be able to render a decision within 10 business days of the date of receipt of the application. The Commission expects to render its decision within 45 business days of the application being filed.

Yours sincerely,
