Re: Part VII application for forbearance from the regulation of business local exchange services in various exchanges in British Columbia, Alberta and Québec

Dear Mr. Béland :

The Commission is in receipt of a letter from Quebecor Media Inc., on behalf of its affiliate Videotron Limited (Videotron), dated 4 August 2008 , indicating that it could not provide comments to the above-mentioned application by TELUS Communications Company by 12 August 2008.   Accordingly, Videotron is requesting an extension to 26 August 2008.

Commission staff agrees to extend the filing date for Videotron's comments on the above-mentioned application to 26 August 2008.

Where a document is to be filed by a specific date, the document must be actually received, and not merely sent, by that date.

Yours sincerely,
