Subject:   Follow-up to Telecom Decision CRTC 2008-14, Review of certain Phase II costing issues, 21 February 2008 - Request for an extension of time to submit revised costing material and reply comments

In a letter dated 22 May 2008, Commission staff indicated that it would be undertaking bilateral discussions with individual incumbent local exchange carriers to address certain deficiencies and inconsistencies associated with their costing material filed on 21 April 2008.   This letter also stated that the new deadline for the filing of revised costing material and reply comments was 20 June 2008.

In the bilateral discussions with Saskatchewan Telecommunications, the company sought an extension of one week with respect to the filing of the relevant material.  

Staff considers that the requested extension is reasonable.   Accordingly, the deadline set out in the letter dated 22 May 2008 to file and serve the revised costing material and reply comments is extended to 27 June 2008.

The above material is to be filed and served by a specific date, and that document must be received, not merely sent by that date.
