LetterOttawa, 6 May 2008 File Nos.: 8740-B2-200803248 BY E- MAIL Mr. David Palmer Dear Mr. Palmer: RE: Bell Canada Tariff Notice 7108 and Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership, Tariff Notice 163 On 29 February 2008, the Commission received applications by Bell Canada , under cover of Tariff Notice 7108 - Work-Function Structure, Push-Button Dialing, and Rate Schedules for Primary Exchange (Local) Service, and Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership, under cover of Tariff Notice 163 - Work-Function Structure and Push-Button Dialing, in which the companies proposed modifications to their respective General Tariffs. The Commission addressed interrogatories and received the companies' responses on 31 March 2008. The Commission is in the process of completing its analysis of these applications. Consequently, the Commission will be unable to render its decision within 45 business days of receipt of the applications. The Commission expects to render its decision prior to the end of May 2008.
