Dear Ms MacDonald :

Re:   Part VII application for forbearance from the regulation of business local exchange services in the exchange of Halifax, Nova Scotia

Re:   Part VII application for forbearance from the regulation of residential local exchange services in the exchanges of Azilda, Blezard Valley, Capreol, Chelmsford, Coniston, Garson, Hanmer, Levack, Lively and Sudbury, Ontario

The Commission is in receipt of a letter from Bragg Communications Inc., carrying on business as EastLink (EastLink), dated 22 April 2008, indicating that it could not provide comments to the abovementioned applications by Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership (Bell Aliant) by 21 April 2008.   Accordingly, EastLink is requesting an extension to 28 April 2008.

Commission staff agrees to extend the filing date for EastLink's comments on the abovementioned applications to 28 April 2008.

Where a document is to be filed by a specific date, the document must be actually received, and not merely sent, by that date.

Yours sincerely,
