Mr Connolly:

RE:   Tariff Notice 4292 - Exchange Area Radiotelephone Service

On 18 February 2008, the Commission received an application by TELUS Communications Company (TCC), under cover of Tariff Notice 4292, in which the company proposed to withdraw its General Tariff, Item 255- Exchange Area Radiotelephone Service in British Columbia effective 1 October 2008.

The Commission notes that the record of this application closed with TCC's reply comments, dated 8 April 2008.   In view of the fact that the record of this application only recently closed, the Commission will be unable to render its decision within 45 business days of its reception.   The Commission expects to render its decision prior to the end of May 2008.

Yours sincerely,
