Re:   Part VII application by Shaw Cablesystems Limited seeking an order granting access to highways and other public places in the County of Wheatland, Alberta

In a letter dated 22 February 2008, Commission staff suspended the above Part VII application until 31 March 2008, to facilitate good faith negotiations between Wheatland County (County) and Shaw Cablesystems Limited (Shaw).

On 28 March 2008, the County in a letter notified the Commission that, due to scheduling conflicts, the County and Shaw were not able to meet before the 31 March 2008 deadline.   The Commission notes that the parties have agreed to meet on 7 April 2008.

In view of the above, timeframes set out in the Commission letter of 22 February 2008 are revised.   The parties are now requested to report back to the Commission, by letter, on or before 9 April 2008, identifying the remaining areas in dispute, if any, and their position on each disputed area.

The parties may file their reply to the other party's position by 11 April 2008.

Where a document is to be filed by a specific date, the document must be actually received, not merely mailed, by that date.

Yours sincerely,
