Dear Mr. Connolly:

RE:   TELUS Communications Company Tariff Notices 479 and 601 - Revisions to Business Local Exchange Services

On 6 March 2008, the Commission received two applications by TELUS Communications Company (TCC), under cover of Tariff Notices 479 and 601, in which the company proposed increases to the monthly exchange rates for certain Business Local Exchange Services as well as to Deductions for Churches, Community Centres and Senior Citizen Drop-in Centres.

Commission staff notes that it is continuing its analysis of these applications.   While the Commission will not be able to render a decision within 10 business days of the date of receipt of the applications, it expects to render one shortly.

Yours sincerely,
