RE:   Tariff Notice 9 - 9-1-1 Emergency Response Service

On 18 February 2008, the Commission received an application by Shaw Telecom Inc., under cover of Tariff Notice 9, in which the company proposed the introduction of 9-1-1 Emergency Response Service in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia .

Commission staff asked the company to amend its application. Consequently, the Commission will not be able to render a decision within 10 business days of the date of receipt of the application. The Commission expects to render its decision within 45 business days of the application being filed.
