Dear Mr. Woodhead :

Re:   Part VII application for forbearance from the regulation of residential local exchange services in the exchange of Southport, Manitoba

TELUS Communications Company is to provide, by 11 February 2008, a response regarding its capability to serve at least 75% of the number of residential local exchange service lines that MTS Allstream Inc. is capable of serving in the exchange of Southport .

Where a document is to be filed by a specific date, the document must be actually received, and not merely sent, by that date.

Yours sincerely,
