Dear Mr. Henry:

RE:   Bell Canada Tariff Notice 7100 and Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership, Tariff Notice 157 - Integrated Voice Messaging Service

On 12 January 2008 , the Commission received applications by Bell Canada and Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership, under cover of Tariff Notice 7100 and Tariff Notice 157, respectively, in which the companies proposed a modification to their own General Tariff.

Commission staff notes that interrogatories will be sent.   Consequently, the Commission will not be able to render a decision within 10 business days of the date of receipt of the applications.   The Commission expects to render its decision within 45 business days of the applications being filed.
