RE: Follow up to Andy Shadrack, Director, Area D, Regional District Central Kootenay - Application to review and vary certain determinations in Telecom Decision 2007-50, Telecom Decision CRTC 2008-5

In Telecom Decision CRTC 2008-5 [1] (Decision 2008-5), the Commission determined that additional information was necessary in order to have a full record on which to base its final decision regarding exclusion requests from Kaslo infoNet Society (KiN) for five British Columbia communities.   In that Decision, the Commission directs KiN to file the information identified in paragraph 9(a) of Telecom Public Notice 2006-15, as well as answers to interrogatories issued concurrently with Telecom Decision 2008-5.

The Commission's interrogatories are included in the Attachment to this letter, which also provides a format for the filing of the information required pursuant to paragraph 9(a) of Telecom Public Notice 2006-15.

As noted in Telecom Decision 2008-5, KiN is to file this information by 8 February 2008, and serve a copy on all interested parties to Telecom Public Notice 2006 15.

TELUS Communications Company (TCC) and any other interested party to the Telecom Public Notice 2006-15 proceeding wishing to comment on KiN's submission may do so by 15 February 2008, serving a copy on all interested parties to the Telecom Public Notice 2006-15 proceeding.

KiN may file reply comments with the Commission, serving a copy on all other parties, by 22 February 2008.
