CKTC-FM Red Deer - Licence renewal

1.

The Commission renews the broadcasting licence for the English-language, low-power FM radio programming undertaking CKTC-FM Red Deer from 1 September 2008 to 31 August 2015. The licence will be subject to the conditions set out in the appendix to this decision.

2.

The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection with this application.

Appendix to Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2008-189

 

Conditions of licence

 

1. The licensee must use the station solely for the purpose of broadcasting historical and current tourism information about Red Deer and the surrounding region.

 

2. The licensee shall not broadcast more than six minutes of advertising material per hour.

 

3. The licensee shall not broadcast musical selections, except as incidental background music.
