CFID-FM Acton Vale - Technical change

1. The Commission approves the application by Radio-Acton inc. to change the authorized contours of the French-language Type B community radio programming undertaking CFID-FM Acton Vale by increasing the average effective radiated power from 1,650 to 2,647 watts.
2. The licensee stated that this change would improve the signal for CFID-FM in its service area.
3. The Commission received an intervention in support of this application.
4. The Commission reminds the licensee that, pursuant to section 22(1) of the Broadcasting Act, this authority will only be effective when the Department of Industry notifies the Commission that its technical requirements have been met and that a broadcasting certificate will be issued.
