  The licensee advised that the increase in power was necessary in order to get its signal into the low lying regions of the Eastern Townships.

  Application by Chetwynd Communications Society to renew the licence of the English-language Type Acommunity radio programming undertaking CHET-FM Chetwynd and its transmitter CHAD-FM Dawson Creek, expiring 31 August 2007.
  As referenced in Decision CRTC 2002-137, as a result of the addition of a transmitter at Dawson Creek, CHET-FM now operates in a market served by commercial radio stations. In view of this market change and consistent with the Community radio policy (Public Notice CRTC 2000-13, 28 January 2000) the Commission is now exploring whether CHET-FM should retain its status as a community Type A station or be recognized as a community Type B station.

  Application by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) to amend the licence of the television programming undertaking CBUT Vancouver, British Columbia.
  The licensee proposes to add the TV transmitters CBUO-TV Bamfield, CBUIT-1 Bella Bella, CBUIT-3 Bella Coola, CBUJ-TV Blue River, CBUBT-13 Field, CBUGT Fort Nelson, CBUT-12 Gold River, CBUIT-4 Hagensborg, CBUHT-3 McBride, CBUPT Pemberton, CBUHT-1 Purden Lake/Sinclair Mills, CBUT-10 Sayward, CBUT-22 Tofino, CBUT-7 Ucluelet and CBUHT-5 Valemount to broadcast the programming of CBUT Vancouver.
