CLEC rates for interconnection
|

The Commission received an application by Téléphone Drummond Inc., dated 27 November 2007, for approval of revisions to its General Tariff for competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) interconnection services. The company stated that the proposed tariff revisions had been prepared in accordance with the CLEC Model Tariff Version 28.

In a Commission staff letter dated 25 October 2007, all CLECs were requested to file proposed tariffs to reflect the incumbent local exchange carriers' (ILECs) interconnection rates or to file proposed rates with cost justification for any departures from the ILECs' interconnection rates.

The Commission has reviewed the company's proposal and is satisfied that it follows the CLEC Model Tariff Version 28 and that the effective dates are in accordance with those indicated in the 25 October 2007 letter.

Accordingly, the Commission approves on an interim basis Téléphone Drummond Inc.'s application, with the following effective dates:
|

- 1 June 2007 for the interconnection rates, as per Price cap framework for large incumbent local exchange carriers, Telecom Decision CRTC 2007-27, 30 April 2007; and
|
|
- 1 August 2007 for the interconnection rates applicable in Télébec, Limited Partnership operating territory, as per Follow-up to Decision 2007-27
- Show cause submission related to the application of the price cap regime to Télébec, Limited Partnership, Telecom Decision CRTC 2007-60, 30 July 2007, as amended by Telecom Decision CRTC 2007-60-1, 10 August 2007.
