Proceeding on the Canadian Television Fund (CTF) Task Force Report

  Further to its Broadcasting Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 2007-15, dated 5 November 2007, relating to a public hearing which will be held commencing on and for the week of 4 February 2008 at 9 a.m. at the Conference Centre, Phase IV, 140 Promenade du Portage, Gatineau, Quebec, the Commission announces the following:
 

Additional documents have been added to the public examination file of this proceeding.

1.

The Canadian Television Fund (CTF) has provided the Commission with documents that have only recently been made available. These documents consist of recent CTF Board decisions dealing with updated policies and guidelines, and of a request for a by-law amendment on behalf of the Canadian Coalition for Canadian Expression (CCCE) to replace the Canadian Cable Telecommunications Association (CCTA) as the nominating organization for the cable broadcasting distribution undertaking contributors to the CTF.

2.

Further, the Commission has requested, and has been provided with a copy of the 2007-2008 Contribution Agreement between the CTF and the Department of Canadian Heritage.

The Commission is hereby placing the above-mentioned documents on the public record for the purpose of the upcoming CTF public hearing.
