Mr. Terry Connolly Dear Mr. Connolly: RE: Tariff Notices 281, 599 and 4290 - Centrex Services On 14 December 2007, the Commission received three applications by TELUS Communications Company (TCC) in which the company proposed to integrate various tariffs relating to the provision of Centrex Service in Alberta and British Columbia into TCC's General Tariff item 213 - Centrex Service. The applications have been made under cover of TCC Tariff Notice 281, former TELUS Communications Inc. Tariff Notice 599, and TELUS Communications (B.C.) Tariff Notice 4290. Commission staff notes that in view of the complexity of these tariff filings, the Commission will not be able to render a decision within 10 business days of the date of receipt of the applications. The Commission expects to render its decision within 45 business days of the applications being filed. Yours sincerely, Original signed by
