Dear Mr. Connolly:

RE:   Tariff Notices 600 and 4291 - Digital Network Access

On 18 December 2007, the Commission received two applications by TELUS Communications Company in which the company proposed modifications to its Digital Network Access services in Alberta and British Columbia .   The applications have been made under cover of former TELUS Communications Inc. Tariff Notice 600 and TELUS Communications (B.C.) Tariff Notice 4291.

Commission staff notes that in view of the statutory holidays, the Commission will not be able to render a decision within 10 business days of the date of receipt of the applications.   The Commission expects to render its decision within 45 business days of the applications being filed.

Yours sincerely,
