Dear Mr. Olivier:

RE:  Agreement 1237/00 - Fido Solutions Inc. / Fibernetics Corporation - Master Agreement for Local Interconnection

On 10 December 2007, the Commission received an application by Fido Solutions Inc. in which the company requested Commission's approval of the Master Agreement for Local Interconnection between itself and Fibernetics Corporation.

Commission staff notes that in Forbearance with respect to certain inter-carrier agreements filed pursuant to section 29 of the Telecommunications Act, Telecom Decision CRTC 2007-129, 14 December 2007 (Decision 2007-129), the Commission determined that Master agreements for local interconnection (MALIs) that were identical to Commission-approved models no longer had to be filed for Commission approval. Moreover, the Commission determined that transiting agreements where all the services being used were provided pursuant to the tariffs of the LEC in question no longer had to be file for Commission approval.

Commission staff also notes, however, that existing LECs must provide the Commission with the name of the parties and the date of execution of any Commission-approved standard form MALI on a quarterly basis within fourteen days of the close of the quarter in question.

Consequently, this application is closed.

Yours sincerely,
