LetterOttawa, 14 December 2007 File No.: 8662-B2-200716707 By Email To: Distribution List (attached) Re: Application by Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership ( Bell Aliant) and Bell Canada for the review and variation of Telecom Decision 2007-35 On 23 November 2007 , the Commission received a Part VII application by Bell Aliant and Bell Canada (collectively, Bell Canada et al .). In their application, Bell Canada et al. proposed that parties file an answer by 7 January 2008. Pursuant to the CRTC Telecommunications Rule of Procedure , an answer is to be filed within 30 days from the date of service of the application. In view of the holiday season, Commission staff finds t he proposed filing date of 7 January 2008 to be reasonable. Bell Canada et al. are to file a copy of their reply and serve a copy on all parties no later than 10 days after the receipt of an answer or intervention.
