Re: Deadline extension.   Show Cause proceeding initiated by Telecom Decision CRTC 2007-101, Telus Communications Company - Regulatory issues with respect to the provision of interexchange dark fibre

Dear Mr. Palmer:

In a letter dated 23 November 2007, Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership, Bell Canada, and Télébec, Société en commandite (collectively, the Companies), requested a one week extension for the filing of comments, to 3 December 2007, and a one week extension of reply comments to 18 December 2007. The Companies submitted that its staff was engaged in the preparation of reply comments in several other CRTC proceedings, limiting the Companies' ability to fully develop their comments for the Show Cause proceeding initiated by Telus Communications Company - Regulatory issues with respect to the provision of interexchange dark fibre , Telecom Decision CRTC 2007-101, 26 October 2007 (Telecom Decision 2007-101).

In light of the above, the deadlines set out in the Show Cause proceeding initiated by Telecom Decision 2007-101 are amended for all parties from 26 November 2007 to 3 December 2007 to file comments, and from 11 December 2007 to 18 December 2007 to file reply comments.
