Dear Mr. Grieve:

Re:   Review of certain Phase II costing issues, Telecom Public Notice CRTC 2007-4, 30 March 2007 (Public Notice 2007-4)

By letter dated 27 September 2007, Commission staff posed interrogatories to TELUS Communications Company (TCC) seeking further clarification with respect to responses to interrogatories previously provided by TCC in the proceeding initiated by Public Notice 2007-4. As a result of its review of these additional responses, Commission staff considers that further clarification is required.

Accordingly, TCC is requested to provide, by way of clarification, a response to the attached interrogatory by 24 October 2007, serving a copy on all parties by the same date.

The current deadline for the filing of reply comments, which is 2 November 2007 , remains unchanged.

Yours sincerely,
