Re: Bell Aliant - Application for forbearance from the regulation of business local exchange services in qualifying markets in Ontario and Quebec

In order for the Commission to make a determination with regard to forbearance of the local business services market in certain exchanges in Bell Aliant's operating territory, ExaTel, ISP Telecom Inc., and Persona Communications are requested to file their responses to the attached interrogatory, and serve copies to all parties, by 6 August 2007 .

Where a document is to be filed or served by a specific date, the document must be actually received, and not merely sent, by that date.

  1. As set out in Appendix 1, Bell Aliant has identified certain facilities-based telecommunications service providers (TSPs) as offering local business services in the specified exchange(s).   For the exchange(s) in which your company has been named as the TSP in Appendix 1, indicate whether:

a)   Your company offers business local exchange service in the exchange(s).

b)    In the affirmative for a) above, provide an estimate of your current capability (for example, number of business local access lines) to offer service to customers using your own facilities or a combination of your own and leased facilities.
