Dear Mr. Mercier:

Re: Tariff Notice 351 - Directory Assistance

On 16 July 2007 , the Commission received an application by Télébec, Société en commandite (Télébec) under cover of Tariff Notice 351, in which the company proposed a modification to its General Tariff, Item 2.7.4, Directory Assistance.

Commission staff notes that the application raises issues related to Télébec which are being addressed in relation to the follow-up proceeding initiated in Price cap framework for large incumbent local exchange carriers, Telecom Decision 2007-27, 30 April 2007 .   Consequently, the Commission will not be able to render a decision within 10 business days of the date of receipt of the application. The Commission expects to render its decision prior to the end of August 2007.

Yours sincerely,
