Re: TELUS Communications Company - Application seeking forbearance of TELUS' High-Speed digital services

On 25 May 2007 , Commission staff issued a letter re-opening TELUS Communications Company's (TCC) Part VII application to permit the filing of further evidence and submissions.   In its letter to the Commission dated 14 June 2007, TCC advised that it had written to its known competitors, including Globility Communications Corp. (Globility) and Enmax Envision (Enmax), on that date to advise them of the CRTC's requirement to file their list of buildings connected to their high-speed Digital Network Access with the Commission by July 16, 2007, in accordance with Framework for forbearance from regulation of high-speed intra-exchange digital network access services , Telecom Decision CRTC 2007-35, 25 May 2007 (Decision 2007-35).

Staff notes that, at this point, no information has been filed with the Commission by Globility, nor Enmax.

Globility and Enmax are to provide by July 25 2007 , in confidence, a list of buildings connected to their high-speed DNA-capable network as per the format set out in the appendix of Decision 2007-35.    Globility and Enmax may address any questions about this filing requirement to Marianne Blais, Senior Analyst, Competition Implementation and Technology, who can be reached at (819) 997-4588.

Sincerely,

'Original signed by P. Godin'
