Terry Connolly Dear Mr. Connolly : RE: Tariff Notice 444 On 13 April 2007, the Commission received an application from TELUS Communications Company (TCC) under cover of Tariff Notice 444 (TN 444) proposing to include section 2.01.08 - [Translation] Forbearance from regulation of local residential services in its General Tariff. At the same time, TCC filed an application for forbearance from regulation of local residential services in the Rimouski , Quebec exchange. Pursuant to the Order Varying Telecom Decision CRTC 2006-15 , P.C. 2007-0532 dated 4 April 2007 , the Commission is required to dispose of applications for forbearance from regulation within 120 days of their receipt. The Commission is currently examining TCC's application for forbearance and consequently, will be unable to render a decision on TN 444 within 10 business days of its receipt.
