Telecom Decision CRTC 2007-5 - Extension for the 2007 annual price cap filing In Price cap regulation for Northwestel Inc. , Telecom Decision CRTC 2007-5, 2 February 2007 (Decision 2007-5), the Commission established a price cap regime for Northwestel Inc. (Northwestel). In that decision, Northwestel was directed to file, on 31 March 2007, the service basket limits and service basket indices, with supporting calculations, formulae and spreadsheets, for each basket of capped services, as applicable (2007 annual price filing). In Decision 2005-7, the Commission established a follow-up process to permit parties to the proceeding which led to that decision to comment on the assignment of services to the service baskets established in that Decision. As the record for the follow-up process closed on 5 March 2007, the Commission's decision on the final assignment of services to the service baskets will not be issued prior to 31 March 2007. Since the final assignment of services to the service baskets is required by Northwestel to prepare its 2007 annual price cap filing, it is appropriate to postpone the date of 31 March 2007 by which the company was to file its 2007 annual price filing . The Commission's decision on the final assignment of services to the service baskets will include directives for the 2007 price cap filing requirements, including a revised filing date.
