Dear Mr. Connolly:

Re:   Tariff Notices 439 and 439 A - Mini Voice Messaging service

On 15 December 2006, the Commission received from TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI) Tariff Notice 439 requesting the destandardization and withdrawal of section 2.20.03(i), Mini Voice Messaging, from its General Tariff for its incumbent territory in Quebec.

Commission staff received comments regarding the application and, owing to an amendment received from the company on 23 February 2007 , the Commission will not be able to render a decision within 45 business days of the date of receipt of the application.   The Commission expects to render its decision within 45 business days of the date on which the amendment was filed.

Sincerely,

"Original signed by S. Bédard"
