Dear Mr. Brown:

Re:   Tariff Notice 98 - Calling Features

On 12 February 2007 , the Commission received an application by City West Telephone Corporation (City West) , under cover of Tariff Notice 98, in which the company proposed revisions to its General Tariff.   City West proposed the following:

  • rate changes to selected calling features;

  • the relocation of tariff pages to allow more room for calling features;

  • the removal of custom calling packages (being grandfathered);

  • the introduction of residential and business feature bundles; and

  • a promotion to waive a service charge on features and new bundles.

In view of the time required to review the numerous tariff revisions proposed by the company in this application, the Commission will not be able to render a decision within 10 business days of the date of receipt of Tariff Notice 98.   The Commission expects to render its decision prior to 2 March 2007 .
