Dear Mr. Hennessey:

Re:   Tariff Notice 220 - Links to toll features

On 28 November 2006 , the Commission received an application by Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership (Bell Aliant) under cover of Tariff Notice 220 (TN 220), to remove charges for links to toll features from its General Tariff item 504 - Megalink Services and item 502 - Digital Exchange Access Service.   Bell Aliant also proposed to add a note to its General Tariff item 503 - Digital Switched Service to clarify that links to toll services are available, and are provided under forborne service arrangements.

On 8 February 2007 , Bell Aliant provided additional information to clarify its application.

As the record of this proceeding has just closed, the Commission was unable to dispose of the application within 45 business days of receipt of TN 220.   The Commission expects to render its decision by the end of April 2007.

Yours sincerely,
