CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee - Consensus items

  Reference: 8621-C12-01/00
  In this Decision, the Commission approves several consensus reports filed by the CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee working groups.

1.

Several working groups of the CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee (CISC) submitted consensus reports to the CISC Steering Committee (SC).

2.

On 9 November 2007, the SC approved the following reports:
 
  • Canadian Steering Committee on Numbering - CSCN TIF Report 67 re: CSCN TIF 71 Review of COCA GL Forms; Parts 1, 3 and 4, plus changes to address the Guidelines in general and to implement the Commission's determinations contained in Telecom Decisions CRTC 2007-23 and 2007-49, 10 October 2007 (CNRE067A and COCAv7). Changes to the Canadian Central Office Code (NXX) Assignment Guidelines to reflect recent Commission determinations.
 
  • Business Process Working Group (BPWG) - Canadian Local Ordering Guidelines - Version 6, 15 October 2007 (BPRE056d). Change to the date for the implementation of version 6 of the Canadian Local Ordering Guidelines from 12-13 April to 12-13 July 2008.
 
  • BPWG - PIC/CARE Record, 15 October 2007. Updates to the primary interexchange carrier/customer account record exchange handbook so that the Canadian record definitions align with the Ordering and Billing Forum1 standard used by third-party business software vendors.

The consensus reports were referred to the Commission for consideration. The reports are available through the Commission's website.

4.

The Commission has reviewed and approves the above-noted consensus reports.
