1. The Commission hereby replaces paragraph 4 of Community radio staion in Amos, Quebec, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2007-418, 7 December 2007, by the following:

4. The new station would offer varied music programming consisting of selections drawn from content category 2 (Popular music) and category 3 (Special interest music). Spoken word programming, all of which would be local, would include news and current affairs bulletins and theme programs on the environment and culture. The applicant committed to devote, in each broadcast week, not less than 50% of its news bulletins to local news, 25% thereof to regional news and 25% thereof to international news.

2. In addition, the Commission adds the following paragraph:

6. The Commission notes that the applicant proposed to offer religious programming as defined in the Religious Broadcasting Policy, Public Notice CRTC 1993-78, 3 June 1993 (Public Notice 1993-78). The Commission considers that, when the applicant offers religious programming as defined in Public Notice 1993-78, it must adhere to the guidelines set out in that public notice with respect to the provision of balance (section III.B.2.a) and ethics (section IV). The Commission is imposing a condition of licence, which is set out in the appendix to this decision, requiring that the applicant adhere to these guidelines when it broadcasts such religious programming.

3. The commission also adds the following condition of licence:

3. Where the licensee broadcasts religious programming as defined in the Religious Broadcasting Policy, Public Notice CRTC 1993-78, 3 June 1993, it shall adhere to the guidelines set out in sections III.B.2.a) and IV of that public notice with respect to the provision of balance and ethics in religious programming, as amended from time to time.
