Revocation of licences

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), on its own behalf and on behalf of Environment Canada, Parks Canada and The British Columbia Ministry of Transportation and Highways, has confirmed its eligibility for exemption in accordance with Exemption orders respecting certain classes of low-power and very low-power programming undertakings, Broadcasting Public Notice CRTC 2003-35, 10 July 2003, (Public Notice 2003-35) and has requested the revocation of its licences for the radio programming undertakings listed in the Appendix to this decision.

Given the licensee's request, the Commission revokes, pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24(2) of the Broadcasting Act, the broadcasting licences issued to the CBC for the undertakings listed in the Appendix to this decision.

The Commission reminds the operator of these undertakings that it must, at all times, comply with the criteria contained in the exemption order attached to Public Notice 2003-35.
